The clinicians at DeNome Alliances Counseling Center are here to help you. We are a passionate and dedicated team, united by the same goal of providing the best counseling services to our clients. Each team member has their own set of skills and areas of expertise. Our team is also known for its compassion, professionalism, and integrity to help make positive change in the lives of our clients. 
Sarah DeNome, LCSW
Sarah DeNome, LCSW
Ms. DeNome has been working in the mental health field since 2002. Her areas of expertise include self-esteem, and couples counseling. She views her role as a guide to assist you with utilizing your own strengths, finding strengths that may be hidden, and then providing suggestions on ways to develop new skills to assist in overcoming life's challenges.

She believes each person is the master of their life. Her role is to empower you by helping to provide you with insight and an array of "tools" (life skills) to fill your "toolbox" so that after your journey is complete you can use the tools from your toolbox for future situations.

June M. Rickli, MS LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina. June earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at Oswego. She works with adults, adolescents, and children dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, school/work stress, relationship struggles, life transitions, and self-esteem. June believes that her primary goal as a counselor is to provide a safe and accepting place for you to express yourself. Her approach is eclectic, based on what she feels will best suit your needs and personality. She offers support and guidance as you process feelings related to issues that are getting in the way of a full and balanced life. Through the counseling process, her objective is for you to discover or re-discover your own power and ability to make the changes necessary for greater life satisfaction and happiness. June has specialized training in working with children. She is a Child Centered Play Therapist (CCPT) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as a supervisor for both.

Through the use of play therapy, she is able to assess your child's needs in a gentle and non-threatening manner. Play therapy allows your child to use play as communication - her training makes her fluent in this very special language.

June is also a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC), which means she is qualified to provide traditional counseling through technological means.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I have over five years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I provide counseling on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, low self-esteem, substance abuse, communication issues, behavioral problems, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and life transitions. I understand that every person is unique and utilize the strategies that work best for you. We will work together to help you focus on your strengths and develop the skills and tools necessary to cope and achieve your goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University and my Bachelor of Art in Sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans. I work with children, teens, couples, and adults facing a range of issues including deployment, anxiety, ADHD, foster care/adoption, stress management, life transitions, work/life balance, grief and loss, as well as family and relationship difficulties. As a therapist, I recognize that the decision to enter therapy is often not an easy choice. My goal is to create a supportive and safe environment where goals and solutions can be explored. My approach is warm and professional. I believe in starting where the client is at and helping build on existing strengths.

Charday Bolivar, LPC, LCAS

Charday has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, families, groups and individual counseling and 4 years of experience with substance abuse counseling, with a main focus on opioid addiction and treatment and co-occurring disorders. Charday not only has extensive knowledge and expertise in working with substance addictions, but also behavioral addictions as well; food, shopping, gambling and co-dependency addictions.
Along with Charday’s training and experience with addictions, she is trained in using mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for successfully treating individuals with Bipolar disorder, PTSD and other trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, adult ADHD/ADD, anger management, increasing self-awareness and self-esteem, life and work transitions, effective communication, relationship issues, couple and family issues.
She specializes in identifying the root cause of the problems that her clients struggle with. She has a natural ability to quickly build rapport with clients while using creative problem-solving to help each client achieve their individual goals.

Charday uses a very tailored, person-centered approach to the therapeutic process. She views the client-therapist relationship as collaborative and empowers client’s to be active in their own healing. She provides a refreshing approach to serving the needs of her client’s while giving them the tools to reach not only their goals in therapy, but in life!

In her spare time, Charday enjoys quality time with her husband and two children.

Mrs. Hostler has worked in the counseling field for over 20 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a License Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) She obtained her second master’s degree from North Carolina Central University in Clinical Mental Health. Her 1st master’s degree is in Psychological Counseling from Monmouth University (Long Branch, NJ).

Judith is passionate about her work as it relates to helping individuals overcome obstacles that hinder their emotional, physical, and personal growth. She finds great pleasure in watching individuals use skills learned through counseling, coaching, and ministry as a tool to find or recover skills and personal strengths that lead to a joyful and successful life. Judith is also an Ordained Minister. Her career path has been directed towards gender-responsive care with a focus on trauma- informed care. Her mission is to be the conduit that helps those that she counsels understand and internalize that they are enough.

I help people with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, anger, and relationship conflicts. My passion is helping people choose new ways of being and living in the world.

As a therapist my goal is to actively help you to find your strengths and potential, as well as help you uncover and and uproot the destructive patterns that cause your pain.
I work with individuals and couples who suffer from a wide range of emotional and interpersonal difficulties. I have experience treating problems including:
Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Self-Esteem , Panic,
OCD, Trauma and Abuse,
Marital and Relationship Problems, Communication, Illness and End of Life Issues, Stress.

I have undergone extensive training in Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and continue to work closely with master therapists to refine my clinical skills. In addition, I am the director of the North Carolina Zen Center and am an authorized Zen meditation and mindfulness teacher. I am fully insured and a member of the American Counseling Association.
