What is involved in the drug and alcohol assessment process?
Your alcohol assessment or drug abuse evaluation interview will take approximately one-two hours. We will then conduct a complete biopsychosocial assessment and obtain your history of drug and alcohol use. Lastly, we compile this information into an evaluation report that is emailed or mailed to you within 7 days of your evaluation interview.
What will the alcohol assessment or drug abuse assessment tell me?
The purpose of the clinical substance abuse evaluation is to determine whether you meet the criteria from the DSM V of a diagnosis of substance abuse, dependence, or any other diagnosis. We also provide our clinical recommendations for treatment such as inpatient, outpatient or group psychotherapy to treat a substance abuse issue.
Anger Management Evaluations/Assessments
What is involved in the anger management assessment process?
Your anger management assessment interview will take approximately one-two hours. Upon arriving for your assessment, we will review your court paperwork and will discuss your current legal situation. We will then conduct a complete biopsychosocial assessment and obtain your past behavioral history. Lastly, we compile this information into an evaluation report that is emailed or mailed to you within 7 days of your evaluation interview.
What will the anger management evaluation tell me?
The purpose of the anger management assessment is to determine if you meet the criteria of a mental health diagnosis in accordance with the DSM V. We also provide our professional recommendation for treatment such as whether you could benefit from outpatient individual therapy or group anger management classes to treat an anger management issue.
