Title: Tick, Tock, There’s Always a Clock. Effective Ways to Manage Stress

Description: From the time we wake up till the time we close our eyes at night we run our lives by a clock and the expectations we set for ourselves. Work, meetings, soccer practice, PTA, Girl Scouts, dry cleaning, cooking, parenting, relationships, friendships, and wait some “me” time. It’s run-run-run. This pace of life and life’s unexpected challenges causes stressful environments. During this workshop, participants will learn the negative effects of consistently stressful environments, as well as societal expectations vs. personal expectations, irrational thoughts, and effective ways to manage and decrease stress.

Title: Effective Communication: The Art of Confident Communication

Description: This practical workshop is for anyone who can benefit from more effective and assertive communication by learning how to influence others in a professional and non-confrontational way.  The program design enables participants to learn how to express their rights, requests, opinions, and feelings honestly, directly, and appropriately without violating the rights and self-esteem of others.  During this practical and participative workshop, participants will develop the necessary skills for facilitating open and honest communication, building relationships, identifying and having their needs met, and giving and receiving feedback in a constructive manner.

Title: Leading for Success: Supervision Fundamentals

Description: An effective leader stands before and behind their followers at all times. They perform many roles, from manager and communicator to coach and counselor. This workshop is designed to help individuals recognize the traits and develop the fundamental skills of effective leadership and supervision. Participants will learn how to identify, describe and appreciate the work behavioral tendencies of self and others through the utilization and evaluation of the DiSC® Personal Profile System Report. They will use this tool to learn how to lead through respect and mutual goals and passion, rather than through need, fear, and intimidation.

Title: People Smart: DiSCovering Self and Others

Description: Everyone repeats behavior that they feel serves them in some way.  Repeated behavior, while not always functional, can be observed and predicted.  This powerful full-day workshop is structured to help participants identify and understand their own patterns and patterns in other people so they can communicate more effectively.  The workshop is based on the time-tested self-assessment tool using the well-known D (Dominance), I (Influence), S (Steadiness), C (Conscientiousness) model. Participants will determine their preferred pattern and understand the inherent strengths and undeveloped aspects of that preference.  They will also understand how their preference differs from others that may or may not be compatible with their own.
